Service Description

Still new to outdoor climbing but looking to dive deeper? Our "Basics of Belaying" course is the perfect opportunity for you to take your skills to the next level. In this course, you'll focus on two essential techniques for climbing safely: belaying and cleaning anchors. Our experienced instructors will guide you through the process of properly setting up and using belay devices, as well as techniques for safely belaying your climbing partner. You'll also learn the basics of cleaning anchors, which is the process of removing the equipment used for protection while climbing. This important process ensures that you get back all your precious gear, and it's also the point when most serious sport climbing injuries occur, so it's crucial to seek out qualified instruction before trying it for yourself. So if you're ready to take your rock climbing to the next level, sign up for our "Basics of Belaying" course today. Our experienced instructors will teach you what you need to know to reach new heights of adventure! Event Fee: $700 (A non-refundable deposit of $100 is required to reserve a spot in the course, payment links can be found in the registration form below; the remaining $600 can be paid upon arrival). Event fee also includes rental of all personal gear, including harness, helmet, belay device and climbing shoes. All ropes and hardware will be provided by the organizer.
